A chain convenience store with over 30 locations in Jakarta faced critical operational risks due to POS equipment failures—any downtime directly disrupted store operations. Previously, its former supplier’s slow after-sales response and lengthy repair cycles caused significant financial losses.

GSAN also implemented an equipment system that proactively alerts for preventive maintenance based on usage duration, such as regular scanning head cleaning and cash drawer spring inspections.


Data shows that since the collaboration, the store’s average time between failures has extended from 3 months to 9 months, and single repair time has shortened from 8 hours to 1.5 hours on average, reducing annual operational losses by over 300,000 RMB. "No matter when we report a problem, it gets resolved quickly. This gives us full confidence in the equipment’s reliability," commented Mr. Chen, the store operations director.
